Alright so since the last time I’ve posted here, I’ve been able to gather some more info on this little guy. Did some research and it looks like it’s either some variation of sunflower or a buttercup flower. Though here’s the real kicker of what I’ve seen recently:

It seems to have some level of control over plants (who would’ve thought). As of right nnnooowww it’s unclear if it can produce its own plant like appendages, or if it can some how control the plant life already surrounding it. It seems to use mostly root like appendages with thorns sticking out from said roots. If you come across it, I would recommend staying out of sight as it could risk aggression from this thing (working on a name, I’m not gonna always be calling it “This thing”) as for its top “speed” (it seems to be able to burrow under the ground and pop up where it wants to) the longest distance I’ve seen it travel in one burrow, is roughly 50 feet in 2 seconds. No idea if that’s it’s top “speed” but I’m still collecting info on it.
